A hotel with more than 100 years of family history, in the town of Leysin The Le Grand Chalet hotel was built in 1896. In the 1900s, Joséphine & Alfred Neveu became owners of the hotel. Then Alfred became Olympic Bobsleigh Champion at 4 during the first games in 1924 in Chamonix. The current restaurant "La Ferme à Fredy" takes its name in homage to the first generation. In 1972, Claudine Bonelli the daughter of Joséphine & Alfred took over the Sylvana pension with her husband Livio Bonelli. From then on Claudine & Livio began _11100000-0000-0000-0000 -000000000111_numerous renovations to move from a pension to a 2-star hotel. In 1992 the 2-star Sylvana hotel became the 3 star Le Grand Chalet hotel. In 2002, Jacky and Lysiane Bonelli took up this beautiful tradition.
